Our employees are hired to solve problems and support sales. Our Simpsonville Order Fulfillment Team is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor. EJSS (Every. Job. Supports. Sales) About the Job: Our Inventory Control Supervisor will ensure that our vast and eclectic inventory items are correctly identified, organized, and readily accessible by the organization's inventory cycle and production. We're talking about every nut, bolt, screw, and skip pan. And if you know what a skip pan is, you'll fit right in. This job is ready for someone who's willing to put in the work to find our treasure and needs to work until it gets done. In other words, your schedule is 7 am to 5:30 pm M-F, and Saturday work will be involved. Things You'll Do (Just a Sampling): Create and compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management on inventory performance metrics such as total value, accuracy, stock-outs, turns, etc. Manage inventory levels relative to demand while minimizing excess inventory and redundant materials. The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, receiving, shipping, and other business functions as required. Leads routine efforts and creates/installs new, more robust methods where needed (e.g., cycle counts based on high value and high moving inventory). Achieve equal or greater than 95% inventory record accuracy. Participates in the review, development, and implementation of standard operating procedures that align with company objectives and goals Things You Have to Have (No Fudging Allowed): A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is sufficient to perform the job's essential functions successfully. At least 4 years of related experience managing inventory or materials, with preferred construction site experience. Knowledge of construction tools and equipment. Ability to operate a forklift. Computer literacy / detailed understanding of Windows 365 (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Teams), enterprise planning tools, including MRP, inventory control/management systems, and ERP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work productively and effectively with initiative under tight timeframes while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Valid Driver's License a 5-year Clean Motor Vehicle Record Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. Up to 25% travel may be required.
