Texas Book Company is looking for a friendly, dependable and customer focused person to join our winning team. As a part time tempoary associate, you will be responsible for working directly with the store leadership team to support an organized college bookstore environment focused on providing a superior shopping experience and great customer service.

Position Summary:

As a sales asoociate, you will be expected to perform routine cashiering and clerking duties, exercising good judgment and provide excellent customer service. More detailed responsibilities include:

• Accurately operate a cash register complying with all policies and procedures.
• Balancing cash drawer ensuring accurate compilation of daily cash reports.
• Assisting in setting up all merchandise including textbooks & general merchandise.
• Maintain general cleanliness of work area and store

On occasion, there may be other duties that go beyond hte scope of your daily responsibilities but you wil be expected to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Cashier or retail sales clerk experience preferred but not required
• Friendly and positive attitude
