Position Overview:
We're seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to develop and oversee comprehensive safety programs across all our branches. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can effectively implement and communicate safety protocols while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs
• Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections across all facilities
• Identify potential hazards and develop effective corrective action plans
• Lead engaging health and safety training sessions for all employees
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement preventative measures
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
• Partner with leadership to cultivate a company-wide safety-first mindset
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all health and safety activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
• 3-5 years of experience in health and safety, with chemical or wastewater industry experience highly valued
• Current OSHA 30 Certification (required)
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to effectively engage at all organizational levels
• Self-motivated with strong teamwork
• Professional certifications (CSP, CIH) advantageous
