This class is the first of two levels in the Inventory Control series. Incumbents maintain a supply of standard parts and supplies. Responsibilities may include receiving and storing supplies; maintaining records of parts and supplies received and dispersed; monitoring inventory levels; coding, entering, and filing invoices; entering work orders; compiling materials and labor costs; running standard reports; obtaining price quotes; ordering parts and supplies; and scheduling maintenance and repair services.
