CTG is seeking to fill a Mobile Application Tester (with Business Analyst Skills) opening for our client in Columbus, OH.

Location: Columbus, OH (Preferred) – Remote considered, must work EST hours

Duration: 6 months

Duties:

• Conduct manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms

• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to gather and analyze business requirements

• Create and maintain detailed user stories and acceptance criteria

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases in Jira Zephyr

• Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders

• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups

• Support continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements based on test results and user feedback

Skills:

• Strong manual mobile application testing skills (not limited to web testing)

• Working knowledge of testing tools such as Eggplant or Selenium (bonus)

• Proficiency with Jira and Zephyr test case management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into functional test cases

• Skilled in writing user stories and defining clear acceptance criteria

• Experience leading UAT sessions with business stakeholders

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in mobile application testing

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or hybrid QA/BA role

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience working cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and business users

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00/hour to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
