Job Description: Information Assurance and Security Specialist

Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards.

1. Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures.
2. Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for the organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customer requirements.
3. Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations. Supports customers in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
4. Applies expertise to government and commercial systems, including dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
5. Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
6. Analyzes and defines security requirements for various computer systems, including mainframes, workstations, and personal computers.
7. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements security solutions that meet requirements. Provides integration and implementation support for system security.
8. Analyzes technical problems related to information assurance and provides engineering and technical support.
9. Performs vulnerability and risk analyses during all phases of the system development lifecycle, ensuring systems are functional and secure.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.
