The Systems Analyst will provide a lead role in business system reporting and management. Provides general reporting support for our main business system applications. Works closely with users and other analysts to develop custom reports and interfaces. Ensures that solutions are documented, tested, and debugged before implementing into live work environments. Builds strong rapport with the user community by communicating regularly with them regarding their daily or ongoing issues. Manages user expectations by informing them on projects status and changes to their working environment.

The Systems Analyst will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:

• Provides user and applications support for all business applications
• Participates as a team member in the business application or the customized solutions which interface with them
• Develops project plans and executes to plan providing regular reports to management
• Serves as business applications advocate when evaluating new business process requirements
• Works closely with ERP Business Analyst(s) and Applications Developer(s) during design & implementation of new applications
  • Coordinates support activities with I.T. team when applying new updates and installing applications.
• Monitors Help Desk calls to respond to problems / issues logged that pertain to this position

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science and three years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with business applications support, developing custom reports and mentoring users on the best way to apply the application
• Experience using Crystal Report Writer or similar reporting tools
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Office, and Business Intelligence tools

• Ability to handle overall responsibility for direct user support for ERP applications / interfaces
• Ability to mentor and help develop the skills of other users and team members
• Great analytical skills to determine root causes and determine best course of action for effective resolutions
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and evaluate, troubleshoot, and solve problems
