DescriptionDepartment: ShippingSummary: Accurately assemble, package, and ship quality products according to engineer's print's directions and shop order's requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product's integrity and quality.Primary Duties: Find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawingsTo use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate the hoistAble and willing to work customer serviceRetrieve orders, collect product and package ordersComplete customer orders to ship product by the shipping dateTo mentor and train other employeesAble to locate on hand quantities to complete productsAble to read and use measuring tools accuratelyComplete jobs on a timely and consistent basisTo load and secure products on trucks as neededTo work as a team and be self motivated to work independentlyTo actively be looking for new and improved ways to do thingsMeet reasonable production goalsPosition descriptions are intended to define in general terms the most significant duties of a particular position and are not all inclusive of all duties or responsibilities of individual positions.
